A new library of healthcare apps has been launched – including apps for managing mental health, sleep and lifestyle – to help people take control of their health and to support and complement other solutions. The library aims to help people live independently for longer and to deliver support for family and carers, as well as service users themselves.
Developed by NRS Healthcare, the independent living specialist, in partnership with digital health company, ORCHA (Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps), the library allows service users and their carers to find heath apps that have been reviewed and assessed for their clinical and digital safety.
Apps can also be prescribed through phone alerts or email via the library, supplementing other types of treatment.
Topics covered include: mental health, Covid-19 support, sleep, carer support, diet and exercise, and alcohol reduction.
If you are seeking help with your mental health, find local support on this website.
