SPFT has been running online peer support sessions since June 2020. They were designed in response to the pandemic which meant that peer support workers - who previously worked in the community, hospitals and other places - weren't able to meet in person.
The aim for the session is for peer support workers - people with lived experience of mental health - to share their experiences, tools and coping strategies, providing a safe, accepting space to learn from each other and find mutual support.
If you feel you would benefit from speaking to people with lived experience of mental health, you can attend as many sessions as you need.
They are held on Wednesdays and Fridays 10:15 am-12:15 pm.
If you want to book a place or find out more, please email: peersupport@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk. You can also download the information leaflet below.
