Sussex Cricket has launched a mental health and well-being hub on its website. John Filby, Chair of the Sussex Cricket Foundation explained that the hub was launched to utilise the network of 182 cricket clubs across Sussex.
"The role of the Foundation is to make people's lives better through cricket... Sport helps people celebrate all the fantastic things about being alive and being human. It is absolutely crucial... We've put the platform here because we want people to respond, find the piece of information that helps them and then get in contact with the experts."
As well as operating as a central resource of helpful organisations, the website offers videos from people who have experience of a range of mental health problems talking about the help they have received.
