People have a chance to shape how local NHS services are run by being members, or governors, of their NHS Foundation Trust.
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Board of Directors is made up of an executive team and non-executive directors. The Board sets the strategic aims and objectives and monitors performance. It is the elected Council of Governors, which includes patients, carers, staff and members, which holds the Board to account and provides a direct link with the local community.
Nominations open on 17th July for new governors, and the Trust is hoping to broaden the diversity of Council of Governors. They are looking for:
· Service User Governor - East Sussex (1) and West Sussex (3)
· Public Governor - West Sussex (1)
· Carer Governor - All areas (1)
· Staff Governors - All areas (3)
