To mark World Suicide Prevention Day (Friday September 10) this year, West Sussex Mind is holding a special free webinar on supporting people left behind by suicide where we will be joined by guests from Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS), Olly's Future and Mayor of Littlehampton, Michelle Molloy.
The theme this year is Creating Hope Through Action. This renewed message is one of hope that aims to empower people with confidence to engage with this complex subject.
West Sussex Mind training manager Charlotte Dawber, who is hosting the panel discussion, said: "Death and loss can be difficult to talk about and many people struggle to know what to say when trying to support someone who has been bereaved through suicide. Our webinar looks to address that to give people the skills to have those difficult conversations."
The live webinar takes place on Friday at 12pm but if you cannot attend on the day, please still book a free ticket and you will be sent a recording of the webinar to watch afterwards.
